Koester, Gebhardt power Lighting to victories

The Twin Bridges Lightning, behind clutch individual offensive performances from forwards Alex Koester and Eric Gebhardt, took five out of a possible six points on the road last weekend.
The Lightning started its weekend on Friday, picking up a 5-2 victory over the St. Paul Lakers. Koester recorded the first hat trick in Twin Bridges' history, while net-minder Brent Pitts stopped 29 shots. Lightning Split Weekend Series at Home with the St. Paul Lakers

The Twin Bridges Lightning win an entertaining game against the St. Paul Lakers at the St. Louis Mills Ice Zone Saturday November 6, 2004. The contest saw 3 lead changes with the final score settling in at 4 to 3, Twin Bridges winning.
There was plenty of space on the ice as the teams were playing 4 on 4 hockey when newcomer Paul Conter made his debut scoring the first goal 5 minutes into the game on an assist from Alex Wallace.
